Course Overview

Designed to nurture people who have the potential to be successful managers. This Developing Aspiring Managers training course will focus on developing your skills that can be applied immediately after the course within a current non-managerial role as well as in any future management positions.

You will learn about different learning styles which will help to understand why other people think and feel differently. You will gain an insight into how learning styles can affect the way in which you work and eventually what difference it can make in managing your staff. This course covers how to use various analysis tools to identify where your strengths and weaknesses are and how you can use this to identify future development needs.

Effective communication skills are essential in any environment and especially to any aspiring manager. You will learn how to send the right messages, how to convey a positive image and what people mean from the way they say things.

This training provides participants with the tools to be able to influence and delegate tasks to colleagues to achieve workplace objectives. You will learn long-term and short-term personal planning techniques to assist you in working effectively under pressure and get results.

This course will explore the various styles of management and how these can be used in a variety of situations. By understanding how to set personal objectives, you will be able to create your own goals to achieve success within your current roles.

The training also covers how to gather and interpret information to solve problems to get the best outcomes; and how to plan the implementation and communication of decisions.
